Redcliffe Golf Club - May Thompson Day

Not too long ago we were asked to be a part of the May Thompson Day at Redcliffe Gold Club, as a sponsor. We were very honored to be a part of the day x

The club is just great and I think it is the best kept secret on the Peninsula !!

Beautiful greens.

And a very well equipped "Pro Shop".

Lairy legs for the boys, these pants are fabulously fun!

The girls don't miss out either, great quality gear here. You could even wear some of these to gym.

The Pro Shop mascot - handsome little devil he is.

More gear, a great range of golf shoes, even some styles for the kids. They run a kids Coaching Clinic every Saturday afternoon, from 2 - 3 pm (Weather Permitting)

Playing dress-up with some of our display stock.

Prizes awarded - well done ladies.

The club also boasts a large collection of memorabilia and photographs from its inception.

Woohoo, look at those fashions, very classy.

There is a full bar and restaurant (call to make a booking and ensure it is open) Well worth a visit, we were very impressed.

Do yourself a favour and take the family for a day of golf fun !

Valori Espresso Lounge and Gallery - 1st Birthday

A night of class and culture !
Happy Birthday Therese and Maurice, and well done xx
What a beautiful night you and the team at Valori created. You are a credit to the Peninsula.

From live music by the "Out of Abingdon" duo, playing my favourite instrument. To imaginative, thought evoking words by poet "Graham Nunn".  And, magical movement by the girls from "Zeta Dance Group"

Pictures from the evening.

Lorraine and Jackie enjoying friends and the fabulous atmosphere

Beautiful owner Therese

 Refreshments abound

What a fabulous place we live in the world

Denise and friends taking in Graham's words.

Again, thank you guys, cant wait until the next reason to celebrate xxx

Scarborough Lights - 2011 Christmas Spirit

How Christmasy we all feel now, it happens every year, the first weekend in December, and it makes you feel all warm inside !
This time of year when we remind ourselves to think of one another and give love and joy. No matter what your belief, we can never do without enough tolerance, love and hope for a "better" in the world.

A Street Parade full of fabulous

To quote a little Dickens
"...I do confess, to have had the lightest licence of a child, and yet to have been man enough to know its value," the children's smiles were so fabulous, the bigs kids too.

There were markets with lots of variety, from Himalayan lamps to children's light sabers and homemade soaps.

Bubbles

Boats

and tea cup rides.
Friends frolicking with kites

Rides and music too !

On into the night

The weather can be such a rascal for these sorts of things, last year the festival was
washed out.  This year, even though Mr Wind played havoc, onward and upward the fireworks eventually went. They were so magical, I do love fireworks.
So, Thank you, we are very proud to be one of the sponsors of this splendid event ! Scarborough Lights is something the local businesses put on to give all our lovely loyal customers and local residents a big thank you and Merry Christmas. Huge thanks to Danny and Sue and all others directly involved in the hard work behind the scenes and the major sponsors for putting on this wonderful event.
Merry Christmas to everyone xx
